What is mental health?

There is a lot of debate going on mental health on the Internet especially after the unexpected demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajpoot, but what exactly is this mental health mean?

does it means getting or not getting upset on something or someone ? or does it means always being positive no matter what ?

It’s simple !!

In my opinion, mental health is your ability to do what you think.

you know it all, all the motivational quotes of all great people. You know that failure is not permanent or failure is an opportunity.  you know that stress leads to depression. You know that “early to sleep and early to wake” is best for you but, that “5 more minutes” takes over you every morning.

You want to talk to your parents, but that little hesitation, that emotional weakness is your mental health.
You want to start your own business, but that “Abba nahi manenge” or “Apne bass ki baat nahi hai”, that weak will power is your mental health.
You want to quit bad habits (smoking, drinking, porn etc. etc.), but that “kal se band”, that attitude is your mental health.

If you want to run but your body doesn’t support it, you are physically unfit, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t improve.

Similarly, if you want something in your mind but can’t do it you are mentally weak, but that doesn’t mean you can’t improve.

And if you feel there is something wrong with you, there are easy ways to improve mental health.
Give time to what makes you happy, read books, talk to your friends and family, sing song, ….. you know the drill.

So again, its simple and you know it all, now act accordingly.
